{sunny 16}
Even though film photography is a dying art, I wanted to share a tidbit of knowledge my photo teacher Beth taught me. Its called the "Sunny 16 rule". When you are caught without the use of a light meter in a sunny setting, you can set your aperture at 16; then match your shutter speed to your film speed. For example, if you are shooting with a film speed of ISO 100, set your shutter speed to 1/100th of a second, and you will get a well-balanced shot in the sun.

Hello hello!
Haven't made a blog post for almost a whole month! For the past four weeks, I've been in the Cotuit Center for the Arts' production of "1776", and it has kept me quite busy. But, I took some great shots of the show.
You can see more in my Picasa album.
